Let me tell you about the little dwarf!
Think of a jar of honey, your favorite cake, the warm embrace of a child, the sweet word of a mother, the best psychologist or therapist ....... this is how MUCA is!
From the first moment when you see her eyes or feel her fur, Muca becomes a "diesel engine" and a "expert in massage". She is a bit shy, but with a scratch under her beard you become her best friend. Personally, I have never met a cat so sticky, good and understanding.
Her only problem is that she is different from the other cats. She was hit on the back and can no longer use her hind limbs.
She is a kitten of approx. 7 months .
The vaccination and deworming scheme has recently started.She has been tested in a veterinary practice for: Feline immunodeficiency virus, Feline leukemia, Feline coronavirus, Feline parvovirus - she is NEGATIVE.
Tested for Giardia - POSITIVE - parasitic disease for which treatment began.
RADIOGRAPH was done to her: old fracture in the abdominal spine; fractured vertebral body and welded to another vertebral body.She feels her feet, consciously urinates and defecates. (these things make me optimistic that she could have a normal life). This sweetheart would use the litter box, but she cannot coordinate her feet, keeping them in permanent extension.
The next step is an MRI in Bucharest and the analyses required for inhalation anesthesia. This investigation will tell us if the operation on the column is possible and will give us a future perspective of the little one.
In the hope that there will be no surprises at the MRI, she will do the OPERATION on the required column and I will "seize her at home" for recovery. She will also be STERILIZED.
MUCA, for now, has a 90x60x80 cm metal cage she calls HOME. But like any soul with a love to offer, she want’s a human of her own in the arms of whom she could purr and be happy.
Please Human, help me make Muca better!
The costs are high and unfortunately I can’t afford the necessaries by simple desire and power of will.
Costs 17.03 - 27.03.2020: cage + first vaccination and deworming + rapid tests + pleadings + treatment = 600 lei
Future estimated costs:
2nd Vaccine + deworming = 120 lei
MRI + analysis + road to Bucharest = 1100 lei
Column surgery + sterilization + post-operative treatment + hospitalization (if applicable) = 1500-2000 lei
Food - I can't estimate (it depends how long it will take until it's done well and you'll find a box just for her)
I also appeal to those who know me personally: Mine and my husband's Birthday is coming! We don't want gifts! Help MUCA!
